Set up your reseller account
This is the five-minute version of getting your reseller account right. Subscribe, set your brand once, and everything your customers ever see — every email, every SMS, your website — carries your name, not ours. A whole business can honestly be live in under 15 minutes: subscribe, set your brand, put your website live on a free address, create your first receptionist. This article covers the first two steps.
1. Subscribe — instant, no approval
The reseller plan is $99/month, and you're a reseller the moment you subscribe. No application, no approval call, no waiting for someone to "review your account." Subscribe, and the reseller settings page and website builder unlock immediately.
Know what the $99 covers so nothing surprises you later: white-label rights and the branded website builder are both included in the platform fee. There's no separate website subscription and nothing extra to unlock. The only other cost is the receptionists themselves — each one is its own subscription (Professional $39/month, Growth $129/month, Scale $299/month, unlimited minutes, flat, no metering). RingReady bills you for those; you bill your customers whatever you choose and keep the spread. Most resellers charge $150–300/month per receptionist.
2. Set your brand once (and where each field shows up)
Go to Reseller settings. This one page is your entire brand identity — set it once and it powers both your white-label emails/SMS and your website. You never enter this twice. Here's every field and exactly where it appears:
- Brand name — replaces "RingReady" everywhere your customers look: every customer-facing email, every SMS notification, and your website.
- Logo — sits at the top of every white-label email and in your website's header. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP — or skip the upload and pick a clean icon from the built-in built-in icon library.
- Brand colors — color the headings and buttons in your emails, and can optionally override your website template's palette.
- Support email + phone — the contact details your customers see and reply to. When a customer hits "reply" on a notification, it goes to you, not us.
- Email "From" name — the sender name in your customer's inbox. "Acme Answering" instead of "RingReady."
3. What white-label actually covers
Three surfaces, and they're the only surfaces your customers ever touch:
- Emails — call summaries, notifications, everything your customer receives by email carries your name, your logo, your colors, your reply-to.
- SMS — text notifications your customer gets are signed with your brand.
- Your website — built in, fully yours, RingReady appears nowhere on it. (Next article walks through it.)
There is exactly one switch to remember: the white-label toggle on each receptionist. When you create a receptionist in the setup wizard, find the Reseller branding card and turn on White-label customer-facing communications. That's what makes every email and SMS that customer sees carry your brand instead of ours. It's per-receptionist by design — so you can run an unbranded test agent next to your branded customer agents. For customer receptionists: always on.
4. What to prepare before you start
You need almost nothing, but having these three things ready turns setup from an errand into five minutes:
- A logo file — PNG, JPG, or WebP, square-ish looks best. No logo yet? Don't stall on this: pick an icon from the built-in icon library and swap in a real logo whenever you have one.
- A support email address — this is the one worth thirty seconds of thought. Use a dedicated address like hello@yourbrand.com rather than your personal Gmail. It's what customers reply to, it looks professional, and it keeps customer traffic out of your personal inbox as you grow.
- Brand colors (optional) — if you have hex codes, great. If not, skip it; the website templates each ship with their own polished palette, and email styling has sensible defaults.
That's the account done. Next: put your website live — it's included in your $99 and takes one sitting. Set up your branded website →
