Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms ("Referral Terms") govern the RingReady referral program (the "Program"). They are part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. If these Referral Terms and the Terms of Service conflict about the Program, these Referral Terms control. By sharing a referral link, or by signing up through one, you agree to these Referral Terms.

1. How the Program works

An eligible RingReady customer (the "Referrer") can share a personal referral link. A new customer who signs up through that link (the "Referee") receives $20 off their first full monthly invoice after their free trial. Once the Referee's first full monthly payment has been successfully collected, the Referrer receives a $20 credit toward a future RingReady invoice. Amounts are in US dollars.

2. Who can refer

You must have a RingReady account with an active, paid subscription and no overdue balance.
We decide which accounts can take part, and we may offer, limit or withdraw the Program for any account or group of accounts at any time.
Employees and contractors of RingReady may not earn rewards.

3. Who counts as a Referee

The Referee must be a new customer: a person or business that has never had a RingReady account, under any name, email address or phone number.
The Referee must sign up through the Referrer's link. A referral cannot be added after the account is created.
If more than one link is used, the first one wins. Attribution relies on cookies and may be lost if the Referee clears cookies, switches devices or browsers, or blocks cookies. We are not responsible for referrals that are not recorded.
The Referee discount applies only to a payment card that has not been used on any other RingReady account. One Referee discount per person, business, household and payment method.
You cannot refer yourself, your own business, or anyone who shares your business, household or payment method.

4. Rewards and credit

The Referrer's $20 credit is issued only after the Referee's first full monthly payment has cleared. The $1 trial verification charge does not count.
If the Referrer does not have an active paid subscription in good standing at that time, the credit is held. If the Referrer is not back in good standing within 60 days, the held credit is forfeited.
Credit is applied automatically to the Referrer's future RingReady invoices. It has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, refunded, sold or transferred, and cannot be combined into a payment to anyone else.
Unused credit is forfeited if the Referrer's account is closed, cancelled or terminated.
The Referee discount applies once, to the first full monthly invoice after the free trial. It has no cash value and is not refunded or carried over if the subscription is cancelled.
We may set a limit on how many rewards any account can earn.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to rewards you receive.

5. Sharing your link the right way

Share your link personally, with people you know or who would welcome it. You may not:

send unsolicited bulk email, text messages or direct messages, or contact anyone in a way that breaks anti-spam, telemarketing or privacy laws (including CAN-SPAM and the TCPA). You are solely responsible for how you share your link;
buy search ads, social ads or other paid placements that use the words "RingReady" or "Ring Ready", or variations of them;
post your link on coupon, deal, cash-back or rewards websites;
claim to be RingReady, speak for RingReady, or make statements about RingReady's service, features or pricing that are false or that we have not published;
offer money, gifts or anything else to get someone to sign up with your link;
create fake, duplicate or throwaway accounts, use someone else's identity or payment details, or use automated means to generate referrals.

6. Fraud, abuse, chargebacks and refunds

We may, at our sole discretion, without notice and without giving a reason, withhold, cancel, void or reverse any reward, discount or credit, including credit that has already been added to your account, if we believe in good faith that a referral breaks these Referral Terms or our Terms of Service, is fraudulent, was not made in good faith, or abuses the Program in any way. In the same circumstances we may remove you from the Program, block your link, and take any other action allowed by our Terms of Service, including suspending or closing your account.

If either the Referrer or the Referee disputes a payment or files a chargeback, we may reverse the related rewards and credit and remove both accounts from the Program.
If a Referee's payment is refunded, the related reward or credit may be reversed.
Credit that has already been used to pay an invoice may be recovered by adding the amount back to your next invoice.

7. Changes to the Program

We may change these Referral Terms, change or end any reward, or suspend or end the Program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Changes take effect when we post them on this page. Rewards not yet issued when a change takes effect follow the updated terms. If we end the Program, referrals that have not yet earned a reward when it ends will not earn one.

8. Our decisions are final

We decide whether a referral is valid, whether a reward is earned, and every other question about the Program. Our decisions are final.

9. General

Taking part in the Program does not make you an employee, agent, partner, affiliate or representative of RingReady. You may not act or speak on our behalf.
The Program is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, RingReady is not liable for any loss or damage connected with the Program, including lost or unrecorded referrals, rewards, credit or discounts. The disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law and dispute terms of our Terms of Service apply to the Program.
The Program is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
If any part of these Referral Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
