These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern the RingReady affiliate program (the "Program"). By applying to the Program, sharing a partner link, or accepting a commission, you (the "Affiliate") agree to these Affiliate Terms. Where they say "we", "us" or "RingReady", they mean RingReady, the provider of the RingReady service. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of RingReady; if they conflict with these Affiliate Terms about the Program, these Affiliate Terms control.
1. How the Program works
Approved Affiliates get a personal partner link. When a new business signs up for RingReady through that link and pays for a subscription, the Affiliate earns a commission of 25% of what that business pays, for its first 12 months, as described in section 4. The Program is run through Dub Partners ("Dub"), a third-party platform that tracks referrals and sends payouts.
2. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old and live in, or be a business registered in, the United States or Canada.
- You must apply through our application form, accept these Affiliate Terms, and be approved by us. We review every application and may approve or decline any application for any reason, without explanation.
- RingReady customers may join. Once a customer is approved, their personal "Give $20, get $20" referral link becomes their partner link and earns commission instead of the $20 referral reward. Referral rewards already pending under our Referral Program Terms are not affected.
- RingReady Resellers are not eligible. Members of our Reseller program earn through that program, not this one.
- Employees and contractors of RingReady, and members of their households, are not eligible.
3. Which referrals count
- A referral counts when a business clicks your partner link and creates a RingReady account within 30 days of that click.
- The referred business must be new to RingReady (it has never had a RingReady account, under any name, email address or phone number) and be located in the United States or Canada.
- If a business clicks more than one partner link, the first click wins. A business that signs up through a RingReady customer's "Give $20, get $20" referral link is a referral under the Referral Program Terms, not an affiliate referral, and earns no commission.
- Tracking relies on cookies and on Dub. A referral may not be recorded if the business clears or blocks cookies, switches device or browser, or signs up some other way. We are not responsible for referrals that are not recorded.
- You cannot refer yourself, your own business, or anyone who shares your business, household or payment method.
- Commission is earned on one receptionist (phone line) per referred business: the first one that pays. If that receptionist is cancelled, the next paying one takes its place.
4. Commissions and payouts
- Rate and duration. You earn 25% of the subscription amount the referred business actually pays for its qualifying receptionist, for 12 months starting from that business's first payment that earns a commission. Payments after those 12 months earn nothing.
- What doesn't count. The $1 card verification charge at the start of the free trial, taxes, one-time charges, and any amount that is discounted, credited, refunded or disputed do not earn commission.
- Holding period. Each commission is held for 60 days after the payment it comes from, then becomes payable. Commissions are paid out monthly, in US dollars, through Dub.
- Getting paid. To receive payouts you must set up a payout method and complete any identity and tax forms Dub asks for. Dub's own terms, minimum payout amounts and fees apply to payouts. We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by Dub, banks or payment providers, or by incorrect payout details you provide.
- Refunds and chargebacks. If a referred business's payment is refunded or disputed, the related commission is cancelled. If it was already paid to you, we may deduct it from your future commissions.
- Taxes. You are responsible for all taxes on the commissions you receive.
- We may set a limit on the commissions any Affiliate can earn.
5. Promoting RingReady the right way
Whenever you share your partner link or recommend RingReady, you must clearly tell people that you earn a commission if they sign up, as the US Federal Trade Commission and Canadian advertising rules require. You may not:
- bid on, or buy ads for, "RingReady", "Ring Ready", or any misspelling or variation of our name, in search, social or any other advertising;
- run ads, pages, accounts or domains that look like they come from RingReady, or claim to be RingReady or to speak for us;
- post your link on coupon, deal, discount, cash-back or rewards websites, or offer money, gifts or anything else to get someone to sign up;
- send unsolicited bulk email, text messages or direct messages, or contact anyone in a way that breaks anti-spam, telemarketing or privacy laws (including CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation);
- make statements about RingReady's service, features, results or pricing that are false, misleading or that we have not published. For example, do not say RingReady transfers live calls, or that it is HIPAA compliant;
- use cookie stuffing, forced or hidden clicks, bots, fake or duplicate accounts, someone else's identity or payment details, or any other method that creates referrals that are not real.
You may use our name and logo only to identify RingReady, in the form we provide, and only while you are an Affiliate.
6. Fraud, suspension and termination
We prefer to work things out with our Affiliates. However, if we believe, at our sole discretion, that you or your referrals have engaged in fraud or abuse of the Program, or have broken these Affiliate Terms, we may immediately suspend or end your participation, without notice, without giving a reason, and without having to show evidence. In that case all of your unpaid commissions, including commissions still in the holding period and commissions that are payable, are forfeited, and we may recover commissions already paid on the affected referrals.
- Either you or we may otherwise end your participation at any time, for any reason. Unless your participation ends under the paragraph above, commissions you have already earned are paid when they become payable.
- Once your participation ends, payments from businesses you referred no longer earn commission, and you must stop using your partner link and our name and logo.
7. Changes to the Program
We may change these Affiliate Terms, including the commission rate, duration, holding period or cookie window, by posting the change on this page and, where we can, notifying you by email or through Dub, at least 24 hours before it takes effect. Commissions earned before a change takes effect are not affected. We may also suspend or end the Program on the same notice; commissions already earned at that point are paid when they become payable.
8. Our decisions are final
We decide whether a referral is valid, whether a commission is earned, and every other question about the Program. Our decisions are final.
9. General
- You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms makes you an employee, agent, partner or representative of RingReady, and you may not act or speak on our behalf.
- The Program and Dub's tracking are provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, RingReady is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss connected with the Program, and our total liability to you under these Affiliate Terms is limited to the commissions payable to you in the 3 months before the claim.
- These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Program will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
- The Program is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- If any part of these Affiliate Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
