Keep your Eastlink Home Phone number. Eastlink Home Phone forwards every call, so RingReady answers them all while forwarding is on. It takes a couple of dial codes.

Eastlink Home Phone setup

After you sign up you get your own RingReady number; your dashboard shows these same steps with it filled in, as tap-to-dial buttons.

Landline setup: Lift the handset, wait for the dial tone, then dial each code from your Eastlink phone — these codes won't work from a cell phone. Eastlink hasn't published busy or no-answer forwarding for home lines — call Eastlink to ask, or use forward-all (*72).
Heads up: Eastlink Home Phone can only forward every call, not just the ones you miss. While it's on, your receptionist answers all your calls. Make a test call after setup to confirm your receptionist picks up.
