How to forward calls on Brightspeed Digital Voice to your AI receptionist

Brightspeed Digital Voice setup

After you sign up you get your own RingReady number; your dashboard shows these same steps with it filled in, as tap-to-dial buttons.

Landline setup: Lift the handset, wait for the dial tone, then dial each code from your Brightspeed phone. These codes won't work from a cell phone.

Forward when busy

From your Brightspeed phone, dial *90. Enter your voicemail PIN, then press #.

Press 1, enter your RingReady number, then press #.

Forward when not answered

Dial *92. Enter your voicemail PIN, then press # if asked.

Press 1, enter your RingReady number, then press #.

Or use the Voice Portal

You can also set busy and no-answer forwarding in the Brightspeed Voice Portal.

The portal also lets you set a forwarding schedule.

To turn it off

Dial the same code (*90 or *92), enter your PIN, then press 2 to send calls back to voicemail.
