Give your customers their own login
Your customers can sign in on your website and read the calls their receptionist answered. No RingReady branding anywhere — it's your domain, your logo, your colors.
1. What your customer sees
Once the portal is on, a Sign in link appears in your website's navigation, next to your main call-to-action. Your customer clicks it, signs in with their own password, and gets three things:
- Their calls — every call their receptionist answered, newest first, with who called, what it was about and how long it lasted. Archived and spam calls are filtered out, so it reads like an inbox rather than a log.
- Each call in full — the summary, the full transcript, and the recording where the plan includes it.
- Their receptionist's setup — the greeting, the voice, languages, what it does, services, address, hours and the questions it can answer.
Every call summary email you send them also carries a link straight to that call in your portal.
2. Turn it on
Open reseller settings and switch on Customer portal, then save. Two things to know:
- It works on any live domain of yours — your free .recepflow.com address or your own domain. Your marketing site doesn't even have to be published; some resellers run the portal alone.
- Nothing becomes visible to anyone until you give a specific customer access to a specific receptionist. The switch just opens the door.
3. Give one customer access
Open the receptionist in Edit, and find Customer access in step 3, under Reseller branding. Enter your customer's email and name, and they get an email — on your brand, from your sending name — with a link to choose a password.
Access is per receptionist. A customer with two receptionists sees both under one login; a customer with one sees only theirs. Nobody ever sees another customer's calls.
4. Customer access vs. Team access — don't mix them up
There are two different invitations in the app, and it matters which one you use:
- Customer access (step 3, on a receptionist) invites your customer to your portal. They see your brand only.
- Team access (step 4, Review) invites your own staff to RingReady. They sign in at ring-ready.com and will see the RingReady brand.
Adding a customer under Team access would show them who powers your service. The app warns you about this, but the rule is simple: customers go in Customer access, your own people go in Team access.
5. Removing access
Remove a customer from a receptionist at any time and their access ends on their next page load. Their account and any other receptionist they hold are untouched — so removing one receptionist from a customer with three leaves the other two working.
Switching the portal off entirely does the same for everyone at once. If you have customers signed in, the app tells you how many will lose access before you confirm.
6. What's deliberately not in the portal
The portal is read-only, and that's on purpose — it's your product, and you stay the one who configures it. Your customers cannot:
- change anything about the receptionist (they see the setup, they don't edit it),
- see or touch billing, plans or phone numbers,
- invite anyone else,
- see any reference to RingReady.
When a customer wants a change, they contact you — the portal says so on their receptionist page, with your support address.
This guide tracks what the portal actually does today. If you spot something here that doesn't match what you see in your account, tell us and we'll fix one of the two.
