How to forward calls on Straight Talk to your AI receptionist

Keep your Straight Talk number. Your phone rings first — RingReady answers only the calls you miss. It takes a couple of dial codes.

Straight Talk setup

After you sign up you get your own RingReady number; your dashboard shows these same steps with it filled in, as tap-to-dial buttons.

Straight Talk uses Verizon's network and codes.
Heads up: Straight Talk documents *72 (forward all). *71 is Verizon's code for busy and unanswered calls and works on Verizon-network lines. After setup, make a test call to your business number to confirm.

iPhone users — disable Live Voicemail first

Open Settings → Apps → Phone → Live Voicemail → toggle OFF.

This stops your iPhone from intercepting calls before forwarding takes effect. Skip this step on Android.

Forward calls when busy or not answered

Dial:*71your RingReady numberthen press Call.

Only use this if you want to forward ALL calls, even when you can answer
