How to forward calls on Webex Calling (Cisco) to your AI receptionist

Keep your Webex Calling (Cisco) number. Your phone rings first — RingReady answers only the calls you miss. Set it up in a few minutes from your Webex Calling (Cisco) settings.

Webex Calling (Cisco) setup

After you sign up you get your own RingReady number; your dashboard shows these same steps with it filled in, as tap-to-dial buttons.

1

Open Webex User Hub

Sign in at user.webex.com

Sign in to User Hub and go to Settings > Calling > Call settings. Your Webex admin must have enabled call forwarding for you, and you need a Webex Calling license.
2

Turn on call forwarding

Call forwarding section

In the Call forwarding section, turn on the toggle. Leave "Forward all calls" off so your phone still rings first.
3

Forward unanswered calls to your receptionist

Forward calls when unanswered (and busy)

Choose "Forward calls when unanswered", enter your full RingReady receptionist number, and set the Number of rings before forwarding. Optionally do the same for "Forward calls during busy lines". Leave "Allow forwarded calls to leave voicemail" off, then click Save.
4

Test it

Call your business number from another phone and let it ring

Don't answer. After the rings you set, your RingReady receptionist should pick up.
